Trump promotes posts related to QAnon on his social media platform

Former President Donald Trump touted several posts on his social media platform early Friday about the QAnon conspiracy theory.

One of the posts highlighted on his Truth Social account, which has more than 4 million followers, is a video that begins with an image showing a giant “Q” on his face and text that reads: “Information war. Time to wake up.” The video contains a set of A meme-like image of Trump with graphics.

It’s another example of the former president’s public promotion of QAnon – a movement that espouses the conspiracy theory that Trump is secretly fighting against evil forces associated with the Democratic Party.

One post with a photo of Trump pointing to the camera, falsely referring to his victory in the 2020 presidential election, stated: “I won. They know it, I know it, and you know it.”

In one slide, she says that under Trump’s presidency, “America comes first,” “not illegal,” “not refugees,” and “not foreign workers.”

Another photo that says the “real uprising” is “How the Democrats cheated in 2020” and adds, “Never forget.”

Trump has posted and retweeted material related to QAnon before, but it’s now a constant hug to him.

The QAnon conspiracy theory is built around Q, an anonymous account that posts periodically on 8kun, often in obscure or symbolic language interpreted by followers. The account purports to document Trump’s secret battle against the Democratic Party, which adherents of this theory claim is being run by diabolical, child-eating cannibals who run a pedophile gang full of celebrities and political elites who have been secretly running the United States. state government for decades.
