Sleater-Kinney celebrates the 25th anniversary of his third studio album dig for me With the release of a new covers album: Dig Me In: Dig Me Out Album Covers It will be released on October 21. A portion of the album’s proceeds will be donated to SMYRC, a Portland-based LGBTQIA+ youth center.
Earlier this year, the band announced that Wilco and St. Vincent, Courtney Barnett, Lou, Linda Lindas, Jason Espel and Amanda Sherrys, Tond Adebembe from TV on Radio will cover songs from the 1997 album, and now, the group has shared their full playlist. The album will include new versions of the original dig for me Songs performed by previous musicians, as well as Low, Black Belt Eagle Scout, Margo Price and others.
